It's very roomy for a 36 foot boat. It's got a very wide beam. I was on it today diving the Dunderberg with five tech divers and we had tons of room. But Gary had to pull it today to get some work done on the engines. Hopefully he'll have it back in the water by next weekend.

It's become my favorite boat to dive off of in the Great Lakes. It's a great boat and Gary is a great guy.

The pictures looked like there was quite a bit of room, but its always a bit hard to tell. Looks like its a pretty easy boat to get on and off of as well.

How was the speed. I've been on other boats that were roomy, but were so slow you thought you were going to die of old age getting there.

I do miss the Newton boats from Florida and Hawaii, particularly the big 46 foot job. http://www.dive-boats.com/ They are fast, lots of room and easy to get on and off of. You can also get out of the weather if you need too. Unfortunately up here I don't think anyone could afford to have one given the short season. Of course the warm water, visibility and all the fish might have helped.
