Here is the latest update for diving Lake Amistad in Del Rio. Several divers from Laredo Scuba Diving Club went diving to Lake Amistad, Saturday, July 31.
There was 5 feet visability between 10 and 15 feet. The Amistad wall at 60 feet was at 15 feet visability. I would recommend If you dive Lake Amistad, that you dive the wall. The wall drops down to about 100 feet. The water temperature between 5 and 15 feet was at 85 degrees. The temperature at 60 feet was at 75 degrees.
Be sure to dive the the wall. I was a happy diver because 5 feet visability or better, is great for me. I am a limited visability diver.
