Moss, cress, and woods (which is under construction right now) are all quite rocky with some good kelp and grass closer to shore. As you go deeper it is more rocky than kelpy. I think that these sights have a good mix of things. There is not a lot of parking at these spots. Carpooling would be best if there will be many divers, or we have to pick a different spot.
Treasure Island Cove is quickly becoming one of my new favorite spots. It has great, pay parking with facilities and it is behind a resort, so the whole area is nice. There are many rock structures that provide overhangs and swim-thrus with a few cave like things. There is some kelp to go through as well.
Think about it a little. We normally get to the dive sites around 7am to beat the non-diving crowds, but I am not sure where you are coming from, or if you are willing to get there that early.
In either case there is plenty of time to plan.

P.S I tried to post a link to a map, but the site won't let me because I am new to ScubaBoard. Pacificwilderness.com and lagunaseasports.com both have maps on their sites. Treasure Island Cove is south of Moss St. if it is not on the map.
