I want to buy a Rear inflated BCD to my wife for Xmas. She already tried a Rear inflated BCD while in Vacation at Atlantic city. Riptide was the bran I think. I tried one too and it was very confortable...
I must say I don't remeber much Since I was sea sick and puked over 15 times and could only dive once. :coffee:

Since that day, every time we rent our cheap gear she talks about the rear inflated bcd.
I would like to know if you guys or maybe Ladies have a Rear inflated BCD to recommand. I would like a well know brand that I could have serviced almost anywhere. Riptide does not even sale in Canada and I don't have any feedback of durability so Id like something else.

Thanks

Zeagle Zena

They're not officially listed as a back inflate, but they effectively are.

My wife and daughter both have SubaPro LadyHawak BCs and are very happy eith them. The LadyHawk is a back inflate BC.

Don't know how the Zeagle Zena wouldn't be considered back inflate...it's basically a corset with a wing attached! ;)

I'd strongly suggest that you make sure you wife has tried and approved anything you buy...so a gift certificate or a card saying she's getting a BC is going to be better IMO than the actual BC. Fit is too important to guess about.

Zeagle Lazer is the way to go! You can get a custom fit and it is very comfortable! The people at Zeagle are wonderful and will help you with any questions you have. Also their service department is very helpful if you have any issues with the gear.

The Seaquest Diva has a style that is hybrid. Their top of the line model has the "butterfly" wing. On the surface it is a jacket and once horizontal in the water--has a rear inflate configuration.

I dive a Seaquest Libra and love it. It is totally back inflate and lacks that stupid velcro cumberbund that so many BCD's have.
