Lac du Bourget: a man dies following a diving accident

This Sunday, March 19 around 11 a.m., two men in their fifties had a diving accident at the port of Châtillon, in Chindrieux. One of them died from his injuries.

Underwater, one of the two men felt unwell. After getting out of the water, he went into cardiorespiratory arrest. He was evacuated in critical condition to the Métropole Savoie hospital center.

The man eventually died as a result of this accident.

How is it not? "Underwater, one of the two men felt unwell. After getting out of the water, he went into cardiorespiratory arrest." He had a problem in the water that got worse. He might have died on the golf course or doing yardwork otherwise, but diving does subject the body to stress.
