I cant believe Labor Day weekend is upon us!

Now, if I was still in Toledo, I'd be sad knowing the diving season was about to spiral down!

BUT, its Florida! So life is GOOD! :D

For the weekend, I'd like to dive, to get out of town. TO do something! Is anyone aware of trips with open spots, or other events going on I may be able to join? Last minute trips to the Keys, springs, rivers, anything?

Let me know! Deeply appreciated!

Todd

Hmm... You definitely have me thinking!

So....I just got back from Boynton Beach, had a great time and was looking forward to key largo next weekend. Found out my friend is having trouble with his boat so we arent heading down there. I STILL WANT TO DIVE!!!! and I would still be willing to make a drive to do it!! Anyone else heading out someplace?? Like Todd, i would be interested in springs, charters, or going out on another board members boat and helping out with gas, etc

Boynton conditions werent as great as usual because of the storm but still had a great time and got 4 dives in. Plus, completed my AOW!! Yeah!!
Let me know and please keep me in mind.

I'm in if somebody wants company. Springs or even a trip back to Boynton. I think the Gulf will be very "iffy".

Thats AWESOME Fletch! Congrats on the AOW! Smoken! Seriously!

Bruce is up for a Boynton run! Fletch, maybe we could all do this, or something else since you've just been there! What ideas do you have? If the vis is poor at Boynton, I'd hate to make that drive.

Anyone else here who would like to join us? Or have an idea for a place to go?

We have some time to plan!

I'm ready to go!

Todd

(still need a handle)

Okay Bruce!

I'll split anything! Heh, to a point!

I'm jazzed.

Hey guys. Boynton wasnt bad - from what everyone said it just wasnt what it usually is. The dive master on the dive this am said in 25 years he had not seen vis that low. Today, you could actually see people doing their safety stops from the top. Once you got down to the reef, you prob had 50 ft vis. I am told that typically you can see the reef from the top, 100ft straight down.

As for a roadtrip - since I just got back from Boynton, I would really like to go to key largo and dive Molasses Reef, a wreck, and anything else. The drive to Key Largo is only about an hour longer than driving to Boynton. My original plan for the coming weekend was to drive down early Saturday morning - dive Saturday afternoon, stay the night, dive Sunday morning and then drive back on Sunday afternoon/evening. That would permit some cleaning time, rest time, house time on Monday but I am open to any suggestions. Naturally, we could split gas, etc
