Question La Paz dive op suggestion for sea lion dive/snorkel, maybe whale shark, Oct. 1?

My wife and I are coming to Cabo San Lucas at the end of Sept. to early Oct. I'll do a couple of days of diving at CSL. My wife can snorkel.

We're thinking to rent a car to drive to La Paz on Sept. 30. On Oct. 1 like to dive/snorkel with sea lions, and if whale sharks are there to also snorkel with them. I hear the whale shark season starts around mid-Nov., so we'll be too early (even though several ops show Oct. 1 as the first bookable day for whale shark snorkeling)

I'm seeing ops Dive in La Paz, SeaLions Dive, La Paz Divers, Cortez Club. Anyone can comment on those ops? Thanks.

Did the same trip, car rental in Cabo, drive over to La Paz, stayed overnight and had a good experience with Dive In La Paz. We were after Sea Lions, which didn't disappoint.
