OK - the new name is Parilla Mission. It is on 30th...San Francisco supermarket is down the block on the corner. There are also several other local eateries on that stretch that look good, but we've never had time.
Casa Mission is the one on 55th - it has amazing gardens and the veranda is beautiful. Our group was in the palapa area off to the side. If you like coffee, the Sexy Coffee is a bit of a show and very yummy according to the people who had it (I hate coffee!).
Don't know about caged animals - I saw birds but nothing else. Bunches of cutie pie geckos running around freely on the walls
