Well we ended up diving with Scuba Diver Girls. They were great to work with and provide one on one attention to the divers. Glad we used them for our dives and first shore entry in the ocean. We originally planned on diving the cove but the surf was too rough for rookies. We drove over to the other side and dove the canyon. Poor vis until we got past 30 ft. then about 20-25. Next time I'll probably leave my gear at home to save the baggage fee as most places will provide even wetsuits. Spent an afternoon at Catalina where the vis looked better. SGD said the diving there is great.
