I have an old (10 years?) O2 Analyzer, sold by Dive Rite and manufactured by Vascular Technologies, Inc. (VTI). I don't have the original receipt, nor the book, the thing wasn't analyzing properly, but darned if I wanted to buy a new one.
So, I called VTI, went through a couple of people, and explained the situation to the "smart guy". I admitted it could be IT-10-T error (ha, ha, it wasn't) and asked, "What would a check and estimate cost?"
"VTI takes care of their analyzers for life." said David Regan of VTI.
Whooo hooooot! In this day of maneufacturers using every little excuse to not support users, and here's a big time bio-tech company taking care of the little guy! Got it back calibrated and tested at no cost to me.
Thank you, VTI!!!
