I stayed at Ao Nang Villa and enjoyed that. There were a number of families there but screaming kids was not an issue. It was a very easy walk to good bars and restaurants but it is not "phuket" there by any stretch of the imagination - if that is what you are looking for. It's laid back and enjoyable rather than wild and lively, IMHO.

Alright, I figured out accommodation on Ao Nang. Now, which dive operator should I use? I don't want to be on a cattleboat with inexperienced divers. I'd like to get some good BT with some divers who know their stuff.
