Nope, we are laid up sick.:shakehead: How about you? Anything new?

So what do you do when you can not dive? Well, I'm pairing up the twins again getting ready for some cold water diving. This weekend I glued pockets on my dry suit, I'm just trying to figure a cool "tech" way of explaining why one of them is upside down???:D :rofl3: Ideas?:dork2:

Gezzz what a busy place.

Well lets see. One balloon event in KY the last weekend of September and then the biggy in NM starting the following weekend. Balloons from all over the world! Sorry guys no diving during the KY event, it just doesn't work.

Name the place for the October 27th dive and I will probably be there. You just need to let me know before the last weekend of this month or I probably won't know about it. I'm figuring on being silent for the biggest part of three weeks.

Chris, just tell them that you are a dork diver and that is the way it is suppose to be mounted.

OK since SB won't allow me to edit my post I will add another.

Chris, more info for your pocket situation. You designed it that way so that if you go feet up things won't fall out of that pocket. A redundant pocket system.

I am wanting to take a deco class next year but I think I need to work on my skills first. My biggy is breathing without a mask. I can do it but I hate it since my sinus surgery. So anyone iinterested in helping?

LOL...we have to dive together first. What is this three times of trying to plan a dive and something has happened? BTW, what agency are you using? So far it seems that IANTD is the one. Also looks like a super butt kicker of a course but good.

WT, I can do it with my nose pinched but if I need two hands for something else then it becomes a bit more difficult. I pinched for OW and haven't done it since. I kinda feel like I should be able to do it without pinching. Clearing the mask is not a problem.
Since my sinuses are so open whenever I inhale on the reg I get a bit of water up the nose. Since I had to flush my sinuses for a month after my surgery you would think that it would be no big deal, wrong. I also get a slight suction when I have a mask on. I figured that it has something with where the tongue placement.

Oh~~ I see what problem you have.. However, I am not sure where you get the mask drill though. As I recall, there is no situation where you have to do something with your both hands when you lost your mask or don't wear the mask in the Adv. Nitrox and Deco class. There might be a case that you have to exit without mask, but one of your hands is still free...

In my wreck class we did a bunch of no mask work, and in cold water to boot. And pinching ain't allowed! Gotta learn to close off the nose without pinching, breath through the mouth and relax ... that's the hard part!

I've decided I need to regularly practice this, so I'm game.

Wally ... IDC is doing BS on 10/27, so I bet you'll want to go someplace else.

I'd suggest either Haigh or France Park.
