Hi,

I am new to this forum and I would like to check if anybody has dived with Komodo Dive Resort.

I tried to look for some information on the Internet about them, but can not find much. Mostly I would like to know if they are reliable, if the use local guides, have good equipment, have experience, if guides are dive master/instructors or only advance divers....

thanks in advance

We have looked into going there but have not yet done so....their tripadvisor reviews look good .

Thanks we are going at the end of this month I will let you know how it goes.

Went there this time last year...loved it. I want to go back. Their rental equipment looked new. Currents are strong and take some getting used to but their DMs take good care of you. Drift diving in sometimes formidable currents . You need smb and might want a current hook and 'stake' (for holding position over coral gravel in current as nothing to grab onto. Place is beautiful, isolated, has a great reef right there and had really, really great Italian/indo food from an Italian chef.
