I am pleased to hear that the dive ops and DoE are working together on this - it has really badly affected Florida from what I hear. If some of the pillar corals can be saved then that will be a great thing.

Not sure if this is the same disease taken at Cob alt Coast this morning

Maybe you should send this photo to the Reef Divers at CC to make sure they are aware and communicate with the DOE.

How does Cobalt Coast look? They were closed down recently for remodeling and have added a new shore diving prep area, see below.

Cobalt Coast Resort on Grand Cayman 
During 2018 we have added a new shore diving preparation area, updated the pool, added a jetted hot tub, installed new pool decking, upgraded the outdoor dining area, and furnished rooms in the main resort with new furniture and linens. Look for more improvements in response to guest feedback to continue into 2019

I'll call DOE and see if they want any info.

Cobalt Coast looks much better than last year .Last year I saw the work being done and they seemed to have made many improvements with the dive op.nice new set up area new rinse tubs with continue running water to keep it fresh it is a plus over the old way.

Yes the DOE will want to know. They have been sending e-mails out to the ops asking to keep an open eye and report anything we see!
