Well, I can't speak for all parents but I for one love my children. I have two boys, 14 and 10. They are the loves of my life. I have never spanked them and very seldom do I have to raise my voice to them. We talk about everything from the weather to sex. Yes, I am a single mom and yes we have a heck of a good time. The father of those children should have been dealt with at the time the child was slapped. This is just my opinion of course.

Damn, i am going to have to agree with Jep on this one.

I have no desire to ever have kids. The ball game is one issue lets throw in the Movie Theater and Dining out as well.

at least we know we dont want kids. It is the people who are on the fence about kids you have to worry about. I will not be bringing any kids into this world knowing how i feel about it.

as a general rule, other peoples kids are ok. When they get to be a pain in the as* i can leave!

They are 14 and 16 and loads of fun. Not perfect by any means, but I enjoy them immensely. They are dive buddies in training as well. They finished classes and do open water the end of May.

I don't know about you jepuskar, but I feel like I'm a naughty kid magnet. If I'm in the movies, or church or wherever, the loud annoying kids end up right behind me. It happens way too much.

Part of the problem is people need to know where their kids can and cannot go. If they can't sit through a whole game or movie, then get a sitter or stay home until they are old enough to be able to handle it. Its not right to ruin other peoples outing because your too cheap for a sitter or feel you can do whatever you want no matter who is inconvenienced.

There I go venting again, Sorry.

My kids are 24 and 19, they are friends, they are diving buddies, they are not perfect, niether am I, I love them we have had some great times together on trips. We've dove in the Carribean, the Indian, the Atlantic, the Great Lakes. My favorite dive buddy is however..... my wife!:wacko: Some of the trips my wife and I go are earned, and that leaves them out.
