hey Mark,
How are you? I am back from my trip and almost ready to go ahead and buy those tanks. But I always like to over-research things and agonize about it first :D

Just a suggestion, avoid Dramamine and try Bonine. Does the same thing as Dramamine but with no side effects. They are in the same section at your drug store.

I just got back from my trip to the keys, and all things considered it was a success. The weather wasn't the best and the seas were pretty rough but i was able to get four dives in.

Two of my dives were with Conch Republic, and like you all said, they did a great job. We went to awesome sites and they were very helpful and friendly.

My other two dives were with a dive shop called Quiescence. I defenitely recomend them. They are extremely personable and really easy to deal with. Better yet, they only take out six people on their dive boats, which is really nice. I've gone on some other dives with Quiescence in the past, and walked away with a good experience. My only complaint is that it takes a little longer to get out to the dive sites from Quiescence than from Conch Republic, but other than that, all is good.

If you plan to dive in the keys and don't want to dive in a crowd from a cramped dive boat, I reccomend Quiescence (305-451-2440), but if you don't mind a larger dive boat, and want to get out a little quicker, I'd reccomend Conch Republic.

Glad you had a good time. :)
