I haven't seen a response to any similar threads in about a year l, so I figured I'd ask a common question. Any suggestions on dive ops in Key Largo that cater more to the tech side of things? I will be going down at the beginning of May and have 3 days available for diving. I really want to do some long deco dives with penetration on the Spiegel and Duane, as well as possibly some other wrecks. How often are conditions favorable for those sites and what are the odds of being able to dive those? How far out would the dive op know if they had to cancel due to conditions? Also, after reading a recent comment about dive ops not caring for sidemount divers, is there any op that doesn't mind sidemount? Finally, by the time this trip arrives, the majority my previous dives will have been in rivers, lakes and caves. Anything in particular I should be aware of in advance besides the current(which I have experience with)? Thanks in advance.

Silent World and Horizon Divers do tech trips to both sites, they are diveble year round, Canceling due to conditions in Florida is usually done the day before, often the decision is made on the day of the dive.

Conch Republic does tech dives there as well.

Horizon has the big cat and a small boat. So they can run small tech trips on the small boat. Believe that horizon also has the tech type gases.
