Key Largo question (Sea Dwellers dive center)

Hello,

I am seeking information / insight / recommendations regarding a dive outfit in Key Largo called Sea Dwellers. I will be visiting Key Laro soon with my wife who is wants to obtain her padi open water cert. I am a NAUI advanced diver since the 80s and will be taking the open water course with her so we can do this as a couple. I received a recommendation for Sea Dwellers from a local dive shop here in Nevada and would appreciate any input from the locals in FL. Thanks in advance.

Is your wife doing a full open water here, or just her check-out dives?

I have dove with sea dwellers several time and have not had a bad experience. My certification was completed elsewhere but my first few dives were with them.

Thanks for the response to my qeustion. She will be taking the entire open water course there, they have informed me they run a regular 4 day open water course and will work with us on the scheduling. I have gotten her all of the book materials and the open water video so I hope that we can shoot through the class work fairly fast. My wife is putting the effort into learning the book work and is getting pretty excited. I will be taking the course with her also, good refresher me and I want her to get comfortable working with me as a buddy as well as the enjoyment of doing this as a couple. Also, we are planning on making diving the christ of the abyss statue there and making a diving career goal of diving the other statues located around the globe before we end our diving careers, which I hope will be a LONG way off. Do you know if Sea Dwellers includes this statue as a dive in thier course of will we need to set up another dive for after the course.

I don't know whether or not Sea Dwellers dives the Christ Statue on a regular basis. If I were you, I'd call them and ask.
