I have used Island Ventures and really enjoyed them. They take a maximum of 10 divers. If your group is near that size I am sure you can get the whole boat to yourselves. Sorry, I don't know much on the hotels though. Dive On

We stayed here last October:

The rooms were nice/clean, two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, full kitchen, dining area and living area, breakfast included for $130/night. It was great way to share a room with another couple.

We dove with Diver's City in Tavenier. http://www.diverscityusa.com/ Nice operation, not an over crowded cattle boat. Barb and Bob take good care of their clients. I've heard Capt. Bob is no longer there can anyone confirm this?
bobs in belize

Thanks for the confirmation.
I thought I heard he took a job on one of the liveaboards.

Have you gone out with Diver's City since he left? How's his replacement?
Not yet, i dive them once a year at least even though bob is gone i would dive with them in a min barb is fantastic. That is the only dive op i use.
