A brief respite from the winds this morning so off to the reef we go; double on the deep section of MOLASSES REEF, buoys M26 and M27. outstanding topside conditions: low humidity, cloudless skies, light NE winds and 1FT seas. nice underwater as well: minimal reverse current/tidal flow, blue water, decent viz 50-60FT, water temp 77F @ 45-85FT. an extremely curious/persistent enormous loggerhead turtle(actually had to push him/her out of the way with hands, camera dome and fins more than once, whereby it took a gentle nip @ my fins) along with other turtles, big mutton snappers, schools of large barracuda, horseye jacks and abundant tropicals. eagle rays still have eluded us. pics courtesy of TIMG,,,,,,,,,,
