I dont think im experienced enough for this trip although I have the training. I am curious however, how can hit a wreck at 145ft, twice to boot?

Do you have to descend with air and than switch to nitrox on the ascent?

Sorry I dont want to hijack your thread.

26% O2 will get you down to 144 feet (within 1.4 PO2)

per the PADI tables, that gives you 8 minutes on the bottom with no deco
(this is an equivalent air depth of 134 feet, rounded up to 140)

after an hour and 35 minutes, you can go down again to 130 feet for 7 minutes
(treating the dive as an air dive, for extra safety), or to 140 feet for 7 minutes as
an equivalent air depth dive

this dive would be a lot better with trimix, but if i were to do it, it'd have to
be on Nitrox cause i don't know anything about trimix :eyebrow:

which is to say... i wouldn't be making this dive at all... way too much narcosis
for my system (i get whacked pretty good)

just a minor correction; the bibb is only 130ft to 135ft at it's deepest at the bow. shallowest part of the wreck is around 90 ft,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Thanks - haven't done it in a while. We usually go down quite a bit towards the bottom on the first dive and on the 2nd dive stay up at the 100 ft level. The bibb is the sister ship to the duane. The bibb is on her side, the duane is upright!
