We originally planned to spend the entire weekend in Jupiter and Singer Island but the visibility was being reported as about 5-10ft Wednesday before we left.
So we decided to switch to Key Largo for some calmer waters. Visibility in Key Largo was not great either with about 30-50ft depending on the site.
We got a few dives in and decided to skip the night dive due to lack of good visibility in the shallows.

Saturday afternoon reports of flatter waters and better vis started in from Jupiter so we made our way Sunday to Jupiter for one more day of diving.

The seas were pretty calm but visibility will still only 34-50ft.
Water was still comfortable in both locations averaging about 82°F the entire weekend.

All and all it was still a lot of fun and I got some first time encounters with sexy shrimp and a brief encounter with a marlin (camera was off of course when it was close, but I got about 3 second worth on camera).

Here are some photos and video from the dives.

Looks really fun. I am excited to head down that way soon. It hurts my panhandle heart to hear 30 ft of vis being poor. Thanks for the update!

I didn't see no stinking marlin!!!!!! hahaha that's how my first WPB dive went- we dropped right on top of a hammerhead, and I scrambled to get GoPro, but that shark was long gone.

Awesome video- thanks for sharing, as always.

Great colors and video Scott!!
