I lost touch with Kevin a few years back and was wanting to reach out but the email address, phone and even his facebook account I have for him are now out of service. Anyone still in touch with him? Any help is appreciated. If you speak with him, tell him Cameron and Nancy are looking for him. He likely still has my contact info. Thanks!

Someone reached out and gave me his contact info after checking with him. Kevin is awesome and easily one of the best dive charters we have been on. We dove with him for years and had many an after dive meal.

Kevin is awesome. I miss him running charters. I believe he has moved onto other ventures and wish him nothing but the best, but do miss him as a charter captain out of Boynton.

Once after completing a Castor wreck dive with Kevin, he seemed in a rush to get back. He said he needed to do a bunch of maintenance on the boat. I wondered if that included removing that protruding table support post for a non existent table on the rear deck which created a hazard in the case of waves sending divers flying around.

Anyway, after lunch at Two Georges, as we passed his boat on the way back to the parking garage, I said "Hey look, there's Kevin doing maintenance!".

Everyone turned their heads and were treated to a wonderful site of Kevin passed out laying on his back on the dive deck. We figured not too much maintenance was getting done on that particular day.
The pole was for a fighting chair. Perhaps you did not know that Kevin also did some pretty serious fishing. Underwater Explorer was fitted with outriggers, they could often be seen folded up against the sides of the boat.

I had lunch with Kevin and Alex B on Sunday. They are both doing well. Alex is a fill in captain on Scubatyme out of Boynton Harbor Marina. Nobody knows Boynton like Alex does.

There were many things that were unique to Underwater Explorers over the years. I did 451 dives off UE in 10 years. In 2014 we did a late afternoon and then a dusk dive on July 4 before anchoring in the intracoastal to enjoy the fireworks, best Independence Day ever, spent with friends.
