Why are you harassing me and not out diving?! Be gone!
Jeff I am just doing recon as I will be going up in the middle of the week (I'm on spring break) and I don't have a convenient buddy or money for a gear rental. Besides as the dufus pointed out it's a bit too cold for me at the moment even with my dry suit. I just don't want to drive up then right back plus I am trying to plan a Maine diving expedition for this summer.

While we are discussing the great state of Maine:
I went to Jerry Shine's talk at Sea Rovers and now I really want to dive Eastport even if I have to be trapped in the car for 7 or more hours. He showed some AWESOME underwater pics and as long as I am careful I am pretty sure I am capable of diving the site he talked about. It's not that deep and the only thing to worry about is getting out a bit too far and getting sucked up in the current and shot over to Canada. VERY cool critters there. He also had this awesome pic of a bottle that adshepard found. I would kill to find a bottle like that! :multi:

i grew up not to far from there and actually spent a summer at familys hous working on a fishing boat wheni was in HS
im not diving today. i worked yesterday, and the day before
and im supposed to go out sunday, and work again monday.
i ve been really sick, and need to give my poor sinuses a break
plus i think its blowing like 30 or something down there today

Well it sounded good at thew time. All of the turnouts did remind me of what I've read about Bonaire.PaulChristenson:

We're at Nubble tomorrow and I'm seriously looking at St Ann's for Sunday AM.
Eastport.. you bet. Bob Michaelson showed us some awesome stuff last year at the Reef seminar. Cold water and huge tidal swings.
