i never had problems with a fogging mask. i used some toothpaste once i bought a mask but since then, as long as I apply antifog drops or simply spit onto the glass before a dive, it does not fog. also, placing some cold water in the mask (or whatever water you're diving in) while you're dressing up helps to keep the temperature of the mask window down.

And when you think it is clean, do it again, and again. I always clean a new mask at least 5-6 times and it still usually needs a few more in the corners before it is really clean and stops fogging. When a mask has been sitting unused for afew months I usually need to toothpaste it yet again. Anytime I find my defog not working properly I just toothpaste my mask and that ends the problem.
Also, for new divers, remember if you keep taking your masks off on the surface you usually need to defog it again when you put it back on.
