Going to dive Kauai week after Christmas. Any advice on wetsuit thickness would be appreciated. Thanks.

I just dived there in November. 5ml shorty was fine. Most divers used 5ml full.

Water should be about 75ish, so whatever you need to be comfortable is what you should wear. 
It'll also depend on how much diving you'll do....repetitive diving lowers your core temperature so you'll want more exposure protection.
We'll be on Maui for 10 days at Christmas and plan to dive at least 2 tanks daily, so I'll be in my 5mm full suit and my husband will have his 3mm full with a 3mm core warmer under it.
