Good book, all trimix divers owe Swede a debt of gratitude
(not to mention submariners)

Not trying to diminish the importance of Swede Momson's contribution to mixed gas diving, but, read the Lusitania Controversies Books I and II by Gary Gentile to see who we owe a depth of gratitude for taking mixed gas from the hat to scuba;) .

I had to ask my library at college to special order sheck's book for me since I wasn't going to buy it just yet...only 19 libraries in the US have a copy on hand....ridiculous.

the terrible hours
good book
very ez read
anyone have any suggestions on another book?

Burn Collector by Al Burian is the best book i have ever read in my life. Unrelated to diving, but strong sense of Portland Oregon/ Providence RI lifestyle of a musician/artist/observationist/traveler/philosopher. Its phenomenal and strikingly intelligent.

Al Burian's writing is quite hard to find (at least where I am...) - do you have a source?
