Carolyn, I don't believe I signed a waver releasing that particular photograph for use. Of course the clinic may have some built in verbage that may cover their asses.

AAHHHHH I hate credit card companies.... they fined me $39 for being late on a payment because it was due saturday and when i went to pay it, it said that i could only pay on business days. this is the first time i've ever had troubles with a credit card that online bill pay wasn't good 24/7.
They told me they couldn't waive the fee. I'll tack it into learning fees.

EDIT
btw the card is through bank of america. anyone else have this problem?

You could call them and explain what happened especially if you haven't had late payments before. Late fees suck...but then that is why I do online bill pay!

Good luck!

I find that most credit card companies are like that, unfortunately. What really sucks is when they tack the late charge onto your credit card account, then charge you an overlimit fee because the late charge caused the account to be overlimit! Can't win for losing...

My Capital One card is notorious for doing just that...it blows.

hmm.... I would have expected better out of Bank of America.

Never had that problem with American Express. Paid it on the weekend online several times and they were more than glad to take my money without any penalties or fees.

My thoughts are if Bank of America (or any bank) is going to make a payment due on a 'non business day' then not accept payment on that day, then they are intentionally trying to screw their customer.

I'd give them a call and close your account. (and open one elsewhere if this is your only card).

You shouldn't have to put up with crap like that, especially when other cards offer better customer service.

That's the prime reason I use Amex 90%+ of the time.. They have better customer service.
