Further northeast of Dalonagha is Rabun Gap. Beautiful places up there. Still a few miles north is a place called Highlands NC. Just outside of town is a bald rock outcropping several hundred yards wide and about a hundred deep. The name of the park is Sunset rock.

Raburn Gap and Highlands are great areas also. Good suggestions.

I have truly enjoyed Helen Georgia. Helen Georgia Definitely beautiful country! :

The area around Helen is pretty and nice, but Helen has turned into a tourist trap.

Almost as bad as Gatlinburg. All it is now is trinket shops junk and over crowded.

There are much better areas around it. It might be neat to go through for an hour or two, but the parks and forrests around it are the true key areas to visit.

I had stayed in a cabin up there. We didn't spend much time in town. It was nice just being in the quiet.

Sorry PHD, I can't always see your vids if I am at work, YOUTUBE is blocked. I usually catch up at home in a few days. ((((((((PHD)))))))

The view from Sunset Rock. Plenty of room to land and take off again.

That ledge would make a perfect spot for Weasel to get rid of her half of the partnership. :D
