also meant to ask... in the above video, the camera goes to "black" for a few moments.
was that an edit in of the beach/waves at night? or a "technical difficutlty"

I was just planning a Destin trip. Might have to wait until the weather settles....
St Andrews might be a little different. It's district headquarters for the park system, so all the top guys are there. I'll have to get special permission to do this there.
Henderson is likely a no go. The manager there told me that this wasn't allowed in state parks. It isn't a hard fast rule, seems that it's left to the discretion of the park manager. On top of that, it's right at the end of the runway for the Destin airport. It might not be good to be flying my planes at what amounts to the on/off ramp to an aerial highway.
