Just booked Dominica - Evergreen/NID

My wife and I just booked 7 nights mid June at the Evergreen Hotel in the Sea View Hut (aka Honeymooon Hut) and diving with Nature Island Divers. We also will have 7 nights prior on the island. We're thinking of maybe 3 nights diving up north with Cabrits and 4 nights in a jungle lodge so we can hike Boiling Lake and other longer waterfall hikes that are too long to do in an afternoon after a morning of diving. Up north I'd like to stay someplace like Calibishie Lodge but I'm not sure I'd want to drive 30 minutes over to Portsmouth for the diving, that's sounds too much like my work commute, albeit with much better scenery. For anyone who has already been to Dominica any recommendations, hints, tips, etc will be appreciated.

We are booked for the same in May. Not sure about the north accomodations. Last time we stayed at Ft Young in Roseau. NID is great!

After you get back from your May trip please write up how it was. At first I thought we would book with Ft Young but over time more and more little things pointed towards booking with Evergreen.
