Did you know that you can participate in this Cozumel video competition? (If you're 18 years or older.)
Called, "Cozumel Through My Eyes," with the idea of promoting the beauty of Cozumel, this contest is open to all. It's sponsored by the local AMMJE, Bienvenidos a Ammje Cozumel -- the women's chamber of commerce.
Info & rules:
REQUIREMENTS: Be 18 years old at the launch of this call; Follow the rules of the Call "Cozumel through my eyes"; Have official identification may be voter registration card or passport.
CATEGORIES: There will be a single category for this contest, bringing together all the videos involved.
AWARDS: For the top 3 videos, grant winners will receive:
1st Place, $ 50,000 pesos
2nd Place, $ 30,000 pesos
3rd Place, $ 20,000 pesos
SUBJECT: The videos should identify any of the following topics, always related to the municipality of Cozumel:
I. Security
II. Identity
III. Natural Beauties
IV. Sports
V. Tourism
VI. Mayan Culture
ARTISTIC AND TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: Videos must meet the following requirements:
The video should last between one and four minutes.
The video must be recorded with a camera, video, telephone, be edited and uploaded to YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.
The video may contain pictures
The video can contain music and voice, preferably in English language
Each participant can send a maximum of 2 videos
The title of the video must contain the word "Cozumel"
It is required that the videos are exclusive and original authorship of the participant.
You are not allowed to use music with offensive words or inappropriate content. Engaging or offensive words on this lack merit automatic disqualification
SUBMISSION OF WORKS:
Videos participants must be registered before June 25, 2010 as follows:
Fill out registration form which can be viewed and printed from the website Bienvenidos a Ammje Cozumel
Deliver video in a compact disc in Cozumel AMMJE offices, located on 23rd Street between 5 av. Y 5 bis, Cozumel Quintana Roo, or send the video to account miracozumel@hotmail.com. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
8. DATES: The reception of the videos begins on the day of publication of these rules, April 12, 2010 until 25 June. The recorded videos on YouTube must register no later than the registration deadline for this call.
The jury's decision regarding the winners of the call will be held on July 15, 2010. This resolution shall be published in newspaper The Liberator of Cozumel and www.ammjecozumel.com site. Cozumel AMMJE AC will contact the winners by telephone to agree on the effect of details on the awards. The ruling made by the jury of this contest is final. The awards ceremony to be held the day July 22, 2010.
THE JURY: The jury will be elected by AMMJE COZUMEL AC and shall consist of three persons, all experts in video and / or specialists in environmental and / or tourism.
The names of the members will be released on June 16 in The Liberator and the site Bienvenidos a Ammje Cozumel. By no bidders may be in contact with the jurors and, if this occurs, the contestant will be disqualified. May not participate in the call: No member of the jury, by himself or by proxy; Public officials; Relatives in direct or collateral to a third degree member of the jury or the organizers.
USE OF VIDEOS WINNERS: Upon a winner accepts the prize, AMMJE Chapter Cozumel, has the right to use the winning videos for marketing, advertising, marketing or promotion, or for any other commercial or noncommercial, without additional compensation to the contestant. Here paritcipants grant to the Association of Women Business License Chapter Cozumel, non-exclusive, sub-license, royalty-free, fully paid license and right to use, distribute, create derivative works and otherwise exploit the input, any form or medium now known or designed in the world in perpetuity. Participants are given a blind through this, its forever renounce all so-called "moral rights (droit moral)" now or recognized in the future.
THE USE OF THE MOVIES: Once submitted videos, AMMJE, shall have the right to use the entrance to promote this in the call and will be administered by AMMJE Chapter Cozumel, without additional compensation to the participant, at the time to upload the video Youtube, the participant grants to the Association of Women Entrepreneurs Chapter Cozumel a non-exclusive, sub-license, royalty-free, fully paid license and right to use and distribute the entry for promotional purposes.
