Well today was a hard day for me. Work schedule made it hard for me to eat lunch at normal time.

I had to eat my healty snack at 1 pm because I was getting hungry, and knew it was going to be at least another hour before I would get a chance to have my lunch. Had lunch at about 2:15. Ate dinner around 6. Probably had to many carbs, but I'll be ok.

Went to the gym for a short 1/2 mile swim. It's been about a week since I'd been in the pool, and I could definitely tell a difference. I got winded easier, and my arms/shoulders feel fatigued right now. Good thing I've been doing other cardio workouts this past week, or I'd really be tired right now.

Greg, it's in another thread below on the general fitness forum, but think about buying a book called Total Immersion. It will change the way you swim, and you will be much more efficient in the water (and a short layoff won't be as difficult)

Actually, I did buy it, and started to read it. Unfortunately, I have not made the time to get back to it. I need to start over.

Great news today. I have a leather jacket that I gave to my dad because I outgrew the jacket.

Well today, I tried it on for the heck of it, and found out I could zip the zipper again. :D This is the first piece of outgrown clothes that I've been able to get back into. :)

Congratualations! It always feels good to get back into a favorite piece of clothing that was outgrown.
