Will anyone here be diving Jocassee this weekend, the 5th or 6th?

I'm dying to get a few dives in so I'm considering making the drive from Atlanta. Not exactly sure if I'll make it cuz from what I've read here I don't have the necessary thermal protection, but I just thought I'd ask! If I can scrounge up an extra wetsuit or two I'd love to avoid the lonely newbie feeling.

Hey smash I'm usually up to a dive at Jocassee most anytime. I live in Easley which is not far from the lake. I dove there last weekend, so FYI you will need at least a 5 mil suit, hood and gloves. Temps were 63 at the surface and around 57 at 40 ft. Air temp last weekend was in the 80's. This weekend looks like cooler air temps around 68 for sat, with showers. Which make for a much cooler day when you get out, and there's no sun. Also with the rain we had tonight and they are calling for more tomorrow the Viz may not be to good. May want to wait till the weather is better.
