Yeah, I've seen some of those also. But are these on the up and up? Some of the links you listed are lessons to become Instructors (at a great price mind you) and the one I listed pretty much offeres you to be paid while learning. But my point is that something dosen't feel right, you know? Maybe I'm wrong. If it is real it seems like a fantastic oppurtunity though.

Your feeling is probably right. Something doesn't make sense. They pay YOU to train? They buy YOU equipment free? they pay for a roof over YOUR head? What do they get out of this relationship? I wonder if they would want you to teach english in return. then again, why not just say that. If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is....

Seems off the mark to me..This sport costs alot and they would have to put forth a large investment in you as a diver. Why would they?As Pugetdiver said what do they get. If you do it read the contract very carefully.

the one you listed Isn't ofering to pay you. Have a look at their website. they want about $7k for six months of classes. Add in round trip air, and 6month living expenses and it comes to roughly $11k US. Not a bad deal at all really. Doing all this stateside would cost almost double.
