My Catalina boat trip was cancelled, now I have the whole day to find something to do. Thinking of going to the local dive shop to chat with them
 
Go dive at the dive park, that place rocks! 10 fin kicks from the stairs puts you in 40 ft. of water. It's the ultimate lazy mans dive. :D
 
Unfortunately the beaches were closed due to high bacteria alert, so even taking surfing lessons was out. No boats to Catalina due to possible water spouts offshore. I was stuck on the mainland without being able to get my fins wet :(
I'll be out this weekend in Monterey though, it'll be 2 weeks since I've been in the water.
 
Jim, dannobee just tagged me in a photo on facebook that had you in it.
At least I think it was me, just after my accident (because my hair was still short).
So, I guess I have met you :)
 
Anyone plans some shore dives on 20th at Breakwater? In the afternoon?
