Andy's a good guy, fairly opinionated, which is why I didn't buy my my first setup from him. After doing the research and deciding what combination I wanted he tried to tell us that the scubapro gear was junk and steer us toward dive rite. Now I know Dive rite is good, but scubapro isn't junk, so out the door I went never to return.

Ah, gotcha. SWS is good shop, the owner is really nice, but he's got a real negative opinion on GUE / UTD diving that I just can't get on board with.
You gotta admit the GUE guys have turned it into some sorta cult. Really do you need all that redundancy for a 40 foot rec dive? really??

Ah yes, talking to myself again. just like being home with the wife...
i'm sorry...did you say something?

:rofl3::rofl3:You probably would have laughed about our tripple redundacy policy when rock climbing 50ft :rofl3::rofl3:

But hittin' the deck from 50 isnt pretty.

Neither was that rapid scuba ascent from about 40ft we helped rescue http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/near-misses-lessons-learned/268397-real-rescue-course-very-close-near-miss.html :shakehead:

So redundancy? It isnt hurting anybody ;-).

Hi Brewski. Hi Ms Brew! Missing you all!
