I guess humor is different in Hong Kong. I didn't see it as being funny.
While I have home brew spring straps on my Jets and they have functioned flawlessly for 3+ years, I have recently seen a pair of jets with springs attached by wire (like mine and most generic ones) that had failed because the spring attachment block ripped. This would not have happened with the Halcyon version. If I ever need to replace my Jets I will strongly consider the H springs.
