So, I was swimming around at the beach (St. Simons Island) today and I simultaneously felt three strong stings on different parts of my body (foot knee leg). I always wondered what a jelly fish sting felt like. The funny thing is that last week I dumped scalding hot water directly on my knee creating a second maybe even a third degree burn. After today, I would rather have had 10 jelly fish sting me at once than relive the hot water accident. Quick question about the jelly stings, do you suppose I floated into a group of them? It's weird how all three occurred simultaneously. All three left red marks for quite awhile thereafter.
Overall, the stings didnt hurt too bad, almost like multiple bee stings, but I'm sure it depends on the type of jelly.
