I am in Jacksonville/Ponte Vedra for the weekend and had a trip scheduled with atlantic prodivers this morning. It was cancelled due to visibility being 0-5 feet. Does anyone have any other suggestions for places to dive? Can anyone corroborate 0-5 ft vis?

Any suggestions for other things to do? (I don't golf - but I guess I should)

I you are in the Jacksonville area, you are just but a drive away from many of the springs.

....there you won"t have any problems with poor visibility

Speaking of springs in the area, between Branford and Fort White there's Ichetucknee Springs and Blue Hole Spring.

In the High Springs area, there is Ginnie springs, Devil's Eye Spring, Dogwood Spring, Blue Grotto and Devil's Den just to name a few.

Beast and I have been to several of these and our favorites are Blue Grotto and Devil's Den. With the weekend forecast, the springs look to be your best bet. You'll be amazed at the visibility!

Went yesterday, vis was still 5 ft at 9 miles offshore,20' at 16 miles.Just had 2 weeks of nor'easter shake the fillings out of us.I've known Steve a long time,if he didn't go out it was because he felt it would be unsafe .Those charters are how his family pays it's bills, they go out every chance they get.
