I just don't log dives
Just seeing if any one is going to be diving this Saturday on the Jackson.

I'll be diving the R/V Go Between out of Broad Creek along with a bunch of people from my LDS.

(EDIT: I apologize, I haven't been getting a whole lot of sleep the past couple of days, and my observation levels have subsequently suffered. Would someone please move this to the "Trips & Marketplace" subforum that's in great big bold letters at the top of the NC Wreck forum? It would be appreciated. Sorry for my blindness.)

Well, scratch that. Diveleader couldn't make it, so it's Sunday on the U-85, still the Go Between. It'll be my first u-boat, any one have any tips, tricks or warnings?

Sure, take Bonine before going offshore.

Enjoy it!

Andy

Eh I never have see sickness issues. Not that it matters though, the whole weekend is FUBAR. Thanks for the advice though.

Neither did he (Drewski) & we have been out in some big stuff before, then 3 weeks ago that all changed. I wasn't there, but it seems flat gentle conditions were his undoing.
He was fine last weekend in Hatteras.
Remember its not IF you get seasick its when.

Yeah the one time I did ALMOST get sick was before I even started diving. We were out with Capt. Spurgeon and the Miss Hatteras, it's a '75 foot fishing cattleboat down there. As you can imagine, mad people were over the rails, and the smell was horrible. We went topside to get away from the smell, and I wasn't feeling too hot. Had a brief chat with the captain, and his advice was to go get a greasy cheeseburger from the galley. After arguing with the man for about 10 mins about how that was never going to work, I took him up on the idea. Straightened me right out, too.

You go out with the Pieno's & the fish?

Yeah we are planning to dive with JT this fall when the boat comes back up here; he moves it around during the year.

That will be a good time.
JT is a heck of a nice guy, but doesn't fool around when it comes to diving or diving safely.
He has the kind of experience most will only dream of.
I am set to dive with him in Hatteras in the middle of Aug. & am trying to get on a trip with him the 1st weekend of Sept. if we can get our schedules worked out.
I also have a trip off the Va. Beach coast to the Eureka for some overnight fun later in Sept.
Let me know if you need some spots filled.
