Hello diving history fans. . .

You may be interested in my blog about SEALAB II's golden anniversary, which happens to coincide with the current mission at Aquarius Reef Base just south of the Keys. Included in the blog you'll find a link to one of the more amusing congratulatory calls from a U.S. president. You'll also hear the helium-infused voice of Scott Carpenter, the Mercury Project astronaut who joined the SEALAB program, along with the voice of George Bond, the father of SEALAB and a chief proponent of saturation diving, which is what made SEALAB, and a mission like the one now going on at Aquarius, possible. . .
