We had no problem at all with the length of the dive. We were always first off/last on. Also we're into shooting videos and were off by ourselves 95% of the time with no hassle from the boat crew.

At first I was annoyed with the "Valet" diving, but actually that made more time for us to dive. By the time they did all the valet stuff for all the other divers returning to the boat, that made for quite abit of extra time for us in the water.

All of our dives were an hour +

Have a good time."

That's a relief! My wife and I always stay down longer than most(60-80 min.), and I worry about trying new operators that want to limit you to 45min. or some other arbitrary number, I absolutley hate that! Of course, I feel bad too if were on a boat with a lot of 30min guys, but hey I only get in the water a few days out of the year. We usually let the DMs know as soon as possible that it's best we get in first, usually they realize I'm not crazy after the first day or so. We are scheduled for a trip 9/6-9/13, this will be our first time in Cayman, and I'm really pumped after all the reports. We got a deal from the Seaspace Expo in Houston $1,300ish/pp for a week for everything including airfare, that's pretty good in my book. How do I check on the weight limitations of my flights? I think were booked on Cayman airways.

I have been remiss in not posting a report about out trip...maybe in a few weeks when work calms down enough. But suffice it to say that it was a great trip, the diving was excellent. We didn't have any dive less than about 55-60 minutes and the DMs never said a word to anybody about it. I will try to post a more complete report with photos one of these days.

Oops...meant to answer your question. If you are on the 737 to the Brac or back to GC, you can have 2 checked bags, 50 pounds each. If you are on the turbo prop, I think the limit is 50 pounds total. Pack light, there is not much to do except eat, sleep, and dive (which is perfect by the way ;D ), and it is a very casual place.
