I agree with John...Big Sur is Nor Cal but SLO is not!
As far as names go, Im not to creative...whatever you guys decide is fine.
Ken -What the hec are you doing north of the border? You being such a die hard LA guy I was shocked... I really enjoyed your analogies about the north /south thing several months ago! I think it was when Nor Cal diver moved to Long Beach? That was hilarious!!!I have lived in both locations-lived in Ft Valley/Hunington Bch in the early 90s then happily made it back north.
Big Sur is really an awesome place, but have never dove there-where did you dive? Short report..?
Cheers-Drew
Thanks again for the laughs-many of your posts are great!
PS -I have adoped your term Kidult-great!

We prefer self-government - we don't need no outsiders coming into our house and blowing bubbles.

Go poke around and see you can recruit those Oregonians... :D

As for you Pipe, you wacky braille diver - my understanding is you can't SEE Kelp most of the time... or anything else for that matter (your gauges, your inflator, your glove in front of your mask... ) :)

In any of these Florida retention ponds and pipes.
If it was here I could FEEL it.

In SoCal the vis was great!

One of my worst dives in Cal was a night dive on the Long Beach breakwater at night. Vis was about 4'.
