It's back and I'm ready!

John, Ted, or anybody who can get away during the week to dive Gilboa, my new DUI is back and repaired and I'm ready to go!! Don't really care for the crowds on the weekends, so if any GLWC can get away during the week, give me a shout. Also, I got spring straps for my fins, so hopefully I can get them on and off myself. (thanks Warmwater Wimp for helping me get dressed at the M & G) You all have a great day.

Right, but did I take a razzing all weekend when my brand new DUI leaked. I discovered a small puncture in the right sleeve on the third dive and duct taped it to stay dry. How it got there, I don't have a clue. It was only the third time I put it on when I did the first dive. John and Ted were unmerciful. I sent it back and the repair was made in a very timely fashion; no cost to me. Hey Jim, let's go diving; you got any Great Lakes stuff going this summer? I was suppose to go to Toby in Aug., but contracted a wedding for that weekend. Hey, one K is one K; if I pass it up, it makes for a very expensive weekend of diving.

I'm hitting Port Sanilac in June, the St. Lawrence in Aug and Lake Erie in Sept.

If I'm able to free up a week day to get up to Gilboa, I'll give you a shout.

I'm heading up with a group from ZenDiving.com. We're actually diving off of Four Fathoms 6-pack. We may do the Mary Alice B. What, may I ask, is your fin doing on the bottom? Not the best place for it.

read my trip report from last weekend. Just one of those darn it all things.

I dove with 4 fathoms before also. I still think he puts his boat in the water each time. you have to meet down at the DNR boat launch. Unless he is paying for a slip now.

Denny, I'm planning to be at Gilboa on Saturday to meet with erparamedic and Andy (who's username I have no idea- I think he's just on ZD). I'll look for you.

If the weather is bad, I probably won't go. Even if it's really warm, I'll have blue lips from the water- lol. So I need all the SI warmth I can get.

I hit Joe and eckybay up- but they can't make it.

I don't care for the weekends, either, but I didn't know you'd be diving... so I made plans .

If the weather is bad, I'd love to get together sometime next week.

jwalko PMed me and we made plans to meet at Gilboa early Wed. June 11 and spend the day diving. If you or anybody else can make it, com'on down (or up depending which direction your traveling) We're probably going to grill burgs and/or dogs for lunch (sorry, no kielbasa this time)

Ted, you're ready to retire with all the big bucks you're making; take the day off and join us.
