I actually made it to the Diamond Sands restriction in side mount in there about a month ago (a week before they closed).
Dat Bedding plain is surely a tighty one , fer sure. :11:

AWESOME BLOSSOM on that one !!! :D

We put all of our gear on a big "wagon" and carted it down there. Worked out great.

Jug Hole is more commonly known as Blue Hole. I have dove this cave at least a dozen times. The last time I was in it would have been about 1976 (with scuba). The first time would have been about 1968. In 1994 I free dove through the chimney to about 50 feet and snapped some pics with my Nikonos. It is really a cavern dive in my opinion with a large open area directly below the "hole" and then three large shafts going downward to approx 70 feet best I recall. The "hole" is a vertical shaft about 10 feet or so in diameter which drops straight down as if it were a chimney. Penetration of the chimney is diffucult due to high flow. What I do recall is that this is one of the more beautiful springs and the upward view is stunning. More recently in 2004 I kayaked the river which is quite fun. N

Try the bedding plane at normal flow levels, you have to claw your way in.
