Hello to all you divers out there :) My name is Synde (cindy) I live in Medford Oregon I am looking for some good fun places to dive. Anyone one have any ideas?

Synde, are you looking for warm water diving, or cold water diving?

Did you get certified in Medford? I have a very good friend there who is a dive instructor; if you don't have local contacts, I can put you in touch with him.

I did get certified in medford ") everyone is great at the dive shop... just wondering if there is someone who know any where diffrent")

Welcome to SCUBAboard!

So many Islands, too many dive sites.

Well, people from your area sometimes road trip up to Seattle or to Hood Canal for diving. There are some AWESOME sites in Hood Canal. It's a bit of a drive, but worth it.

My friend Dave has shown me some video of a river where he takes his students, which looks like a lot of fun. I believe his shop is Rogue Scuba.

Talk to your LDS for tips. Look for a local dive club. Or you could even wait at your LDS and talk to the other divers going through, exchanging contact info. I'm sure Oregon has a ton of great dive spots. It's the Pacific Northwest, with some of the best diving in the world.

I grew up is Washington in Port Angeles so yes hood canal would be nice... I am not sure I have met a dave from Rogue Scuba I am in there a lot lol...Lake Cresent in Port Angeles will be fun ")
