I'm living and working on Platte lake for 1-2 months.

Are there any divers in the northeast Michigan/Traverse City area that would be interested in partnering for some dives?

I'm not familiar with the area and will graciously accept any dive along if I'm free.

There are also some possible submerged karst features I've found on sat imagery that could use investigating.

Still snowing today so it's way too cold for me but you might be able to find a dive buddy through Scuba North in TC. They also do weekly local dives starting in May if you are in the area then !

I would reach out to Scuba North. They have a large group of local divers that tend to dive most of the year.
