I dive in Boynton Beach, West Palm, and Jupiter year round. I dive my 3, 5, and 7mm every year. Low 70s and below is 7mm for me. The older I get, the less tolerant of cold I am. On many of the drift dives, don't work very hard to generate some heat. I use my 5/3mm hooded vest quite a bit.

There are several DO's in Islamorada. I recommend Key Dives (imho)

No shore diving here but plenty of great and accommodating dive shops

Good to know for future trips. So far, it's been a dining destination for me and my family on the way from Key Largo to Key West and back.
