Today's dive was at Hen and Chickens. Plenty of boats on the reef but the roads were not really crowded
viz 30/40 with some backscatter
water temp 83, no current
seas nice and calm all day
resident tarpons were around

Another dive today at Hen and Chickens
viz 25 feet at best with plenty of backscatter
from the surface the viz looked fantastic
meh fish life today
water temp 84

Glad you're getting out! Are you diving from your own boat? I've only been to Key Largo once, nowhere else in the Keys. Do you consider Islamorada distinct enough from Key Largo to warrant spending a week there (as opposed to another week in Key Largo sometime)?

I have my own boat.
The reefs are interesting down here.
I find them fishier and less crowded
if you get the chance try and do Conch wall(drift)
I am a bit biased because the reefs in Islamorada/Tavernier are very close to my marina
Hens and Chickens is no more than a 15 minute boat ride
